As Habakkuk saw the destruction of his people, he set his heart to hear from God. He declared, “I will stand upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I will answer when I am reproved.”  The Lord said unto him, “Write the vision and make it plain upon the tables so that he that readeth it can run with it.” (Hab 2:1-2)  The Lord has spoken to Pastor Hooper and has given him a clear vision.  It is important for the people to read so that they may run with it.

There is clear passion in Pastor Hooper’s heart to eliminate three major problems in the Athens - Madison - Huntsville area.  These three challenges are Prejudice, Poverty, and Religious tradition.  To eliminate these elements, there exists three major strategies.

Second, people are led to financial prosperity to displace poverty.  The Pastor, guest speakers, and staff teach and model prosperity to create a paradigm shift in the people of North Alabama.

Third, the Word of God is the standard of doctrine and exalted as the final authority of belief and practice.  Religious tradition will not be the rule of church ministry but rather biblical instructions.  The pulpit and other means of communication of truth are reserved for the preaching and teaching of the uncompromised Word of God.  People can be assured that they can attend any service of Legacy Church and be fed the Word of God.
